What is the AFUE Rating Located on Daytona Furnaces?
An AFUE rating measures the amount of heat that is brought into your house compared to the amount of fuel that you have to supply the furnace. Home furnaces require a 78% or more AFUE rating. For example if the furnace AFUE rating is 78% then it converts 78% of the fuel into heat while the other 22% is lost in the chimney. The higher the rating the more energy efficient it is.
